When you pray for a deep love, you call forward all that needs to be healed in order to receive and hold that love.
What you think is “not fair” or “bad luck” is your curriculum to be able to get to the place where you are a match for what you dream of.
Great love has nothing to do with luck, and everything to do with saying “yes” over and over again to life’s invitations for you to grow and change.
If you don’t change your choices in relationships, life, and how you navigate conflict and conversations, literally nothing in your life will change.
Why? Because if you stay the same, so does your life and its relational outcomes.
And if you think, “But I keep getting lessons!”
First off, the lessons never stop. So getting lessons and challenges isn’t evidence of failure, it’s evidence you’re alive.
Secondly, life only repeats lessons for those who don’t learn from them.
So, that leads to the very direct question: Which lessons are you avoiding confronting? What would learning that lesson ask of you? And what are you afraid to lose that this lesson is inviting you to loosen your grip on?
You know. Your expansion can’t hide from your excuses.
Here’s a hard reality I had to face (over and over again… haha):
You are only capable of holding in your life what you’re capable of holding in your body. What I mean by that is, if you run from the truth of who you are, you will run from the type of love that can truly see you.
If you’re unwilling to live a truth you know, life will not offer you more wisdom and synchronicities because you have failed to honour what it has already provided. You don’t trust the direction that life is trying to move through you… so you hold on to the wounds and the limiting beliefs as a way to cultivate and create some sense of “safety.” But when we cling to an old story or old identity, we create immense suffering. It takes more energy to stay the same than it does to let life move through you… a strange paradox… but have you ever tried to hold on to love that has expired? Have you ever tried to stay in a job that sucks your life force? Have you ever had drink after drink after your soul said, “Hey, maybe we should quit”?
When we avoid integrating a truth we know, we trade a truth we need.
As in, by not living what we know, we don’t get the answers to the circumstances we are uncertain about.
Great love is one of the only things that has the power to create change and courage to walk in the unknown…
Think about it. If I made you this offer:
…the real question becomes:
How bad do you want what you say you want?
That can be love. That can be your purpose.
What you need to tap into is the powerful force that lives within you that comes with your calling. When you realize that the cost of misalignment is inflammation, addictions, anxiety, depression, and all the things, HOW COULD YOU SAY “NO”??
We know what feeds our issues.
We know where our addictions lie.
We know what conversations we’re avoiding.
As Terrence McKenna said:
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”
You know what is stealing your power. And you consent to the robbery… because you benefit from hiding in the excuse of the behaviour you choose that robs you of the life force to become everything and create everything you’ve ever desired.
The crazy part is that it’s the outliers who choose to not participate in the shared numbing of our brilliance that get criticized for opting out of the sham.
This is because when you become powerful and step into integrity in every area of your life, you remind people that they haven’t.
What a great reminder you become.
